CONTRIBUTIONS TO A DIALOGUE BETWEEN DIVERSITY, MULTICULTURALISM AND HUMAN RIGHTS

Abstract

This paper makes an analytical assessment based on the article A multicultural conception of human rights, by Boaventura de Souza Santos, evoking an interlocution with other thinkers such as Ricoeur, Popper, Voltaire, Lévinas, Buber and Santos. The concatenation of the ideas of the different authors that we proposed for interlocution will help us to build a dialogue between them, seeking to weave a thread that can enrich the discussions on diversity and human rights, as well as contribute to a compatible dialogue regarding the relationship between the three aspects in relief, that is, diversity, multiculturalism, and human rights.

Jose Henrique Arzani, Universtiy of Turin

Mestrado em Ciências da Educação pela Università degli Studi di Torino (Italia) sob orientação da Prof.ª. Monica Elena Mincu, com período de estudos no Institute of Education - University College London (UCL) sob tutoria do Prof. Andy Green; Pós-graduado em Filosofia e Direitos Humanos pela PUCPR (2017). Graduado em Pedagogia pelo UNASP (2011) onde foi membro do Grupo de Estudos em Formação de Professores. Desempenhou suas funções como professor no Ensino Fundamental II no triênio 2015-2017 até o inicio da participação como voluntário internacional em Florença, Italia, no Villa Aurora College (2017-2019).

Possui graduação em Pedagogia pela Faculdade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras de Jales (1986), graduação em Educação Física pelo CENTRO UNIVERSITARIO DE SANTA FE DO SUL (1981), graduação em Habilitação em Supervisão Escolar de 1º e 2º Graus pela Faculdade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras de Jales (1988), graduação em Licenciatura Habilitação em Orientação Educacional pela Faculdade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras de Jales (1990), mestrado em Educação (Psicologia da Educação) pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1996), doutorado em Ciências da Religião pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2011) e doutorado em Educação Escolar pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2014). Atuação profissional na Educação Básica como professora e como diretora. Atuação no Ensino Superior como professora e coordenadora do subprojeto de Pedagogia do PIBID.
