EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF THE PANDEMIC: PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES FOR RESILIENCE AND EMPATHY

Abstract

This article seeks to discuss Early Childhood Education as a modality of educational assistance aimed at childhood, especially in the context of the Covid-19 Pandemic. It is interesting to analyze the effects of the actions and knowledge of daily practices in this segment of education in the context of Sars-CoV-2 and the daily life with the new coronavirus, inflated by the increasingly intense call for resilience, empathy, adaptation, flexibility, adjustment, security, protection. What we are able to experience in the present time with the Pandemic throughout Brazil – despite the existing legalizations and regulations aimed at Early Childhood Education – is that a few hundred children have emphasized the confrontation of the already precarious conditions that already exist. What is proposed are some conversations that permeate the naturalization, especially in Early Childhood Education, of certain actions based on captures that understand as necessary the compliance of children to certain standards.
