foundational practices for the Pernambuco´ Court (1826-1831)

Abstract

The text analyzes the importance of styles for the Courts as a long tradition of law that reaches until the beginning of the 19th century. It takes as observation point the Tribunal da Relação of Pernambuco (Appeal Court), in whose archive, was found a Book with notes of styles written shortly after the installation of the House. Thus, here is a brief presentation of this Book, transcribed at the end to the public due to its interest in the study of the theme. The spelling of the transcript has been updated.
