THE "POLLS" REPRESENTED BY FEMALE "POIESIS": REFLECTIONS ON WOMAN'S TRAJECTORY IN THE BRAZILIAN MEMBERS CHAMBER
Abstract
More than a gender issue, the growth of woman's representativeness in politics is related to the democracy genesis that contemplates in its structural bases, principles that allow the woman to have conditions of fairness in the contest of electoral lawsuits. In this perspective, the main objective of the article is to elucidate the mishaps encountered by the woman who desires a vacancy in Brazilian politics, besides presenting considerations about electoral and party regulations, a brief history of the main female representatives in politics and a survey of the number of female candidates for the Chamber of Deputies and federal deputies. Regarding the procedure, the study is a bibliographical and survey, focusing on the location of information about woman in politics and on the approach, the inquiry is qualitative because it is concerned with the deepening of the quantitative and the understanding of socio-juridical aspects that influence the political trajectory. It is concluded that the political representativeness in brasilian 'polis' came to have favorable and is expanding conditions. It is inferred that feminine 'poiesis' in politics is feasible and feasible.
