The practice of bullying affects the principle of human dignity, as well as personality rights, as the repeated practice of this type of violence causes the victim to increasingly lose their space and opportunities in school and social environments. It also affects personality rights that have particularities and are intended to protect the person, with the aim of ensuring dignity as a fundamental value.

The dignity of the human person can be understood as the list of intrinsic and  absolute values belonging to the person, that is, the right to life, freedom, equality, respect, among others. In this way, these values are already born with the person, they are absolute, non-transferable, imprescriptible, extrapatrimonial, unseizable and opposable erga omnes. In this aspect, respect for the dignity of the human person  finds refuge in constitutional norms, as well as in national and international legislation.

Therefore, even with the principle of the dignity of the human person as one of the fundamental precepts, interpersonal relationships naturally result in conflicts, which can be understood as clashes, oppositions or disputes. which is why a divergence arises between facts, things or people in social and school environments.

In this scenario, conflict arises and can also develop in a school environment, causing harm to those involved; To achieve this, institutions must develop techniques and projects to reduce them. One of the measures that can be implemented is conflict mediation, with a focus on pacifying conflicts and enhancing students' income.

A simple joke can also be differentiated from bullying, as in this case, targeted, repeated, sadistic, offensive and humiliating verbal or physical aggression occurs, thus establishing a cycle, in which the aggressor always finds the strength to continue attacking the victim and causing damage. psychological and social.

Bullying, like any type of violence, hurts relationships, as it puts the person in a situation of disproportion and vulnerability. Furthermore, it can cause permanent and irreparable damage, such as depression, social exclusion and even death. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss theories surrounding conflicts and effective measures for identifying and pacifying violence.

In this context, as bullying is classified as school violence, the studies analyzed indicate that morality can help in school life. In such a way, for Piaget, moral judgment is linked to the cognitive development of children who, in third childhood, can make judgments in a concrete way, using different points of view on the same situation as a basis for analysis.
